I came into the shop to check it out today since I live locally and go to the gym nearby. A woman took care of me at the register and was incredibly rude the entire time. I don’t know if she didn’t like the way that I look or if she was having a bad day, but I will never go back to that place again. It’s a shame. I’m a first responder in the area and I honestly have never been treated this way at another business in the local area in 15 years.

I hate to post a negative review but I'm worried King Arthur's isn't putting out the quality product I'm used to! I've been a client since the '70's on 3rd Ave! I've never had a bad pastie from here ... until today. I bought 2 warm beef for hubby's and my dinner tonight. The crust was very tough like it was overworked, the potatoes tasted old, the entire texture was very dry and flavorless. 😥 I hope this is an isolated incident and I will give them another chance. Hopefully they read these reviews and make changes to improve!

Ordered a white cake for a co-worker with sprinkles and butter cream frosting. It was lopsided. Sickening sweet and had a super thin layer of icing on the top of the cake besides the sprinkles was actually a thin strip on the outer rim of crystallized sugar. I asked where the sprinkles were and she said isn't it enough. Big difference between sprinkles and crystalized sugar.

On a whim, decided to get a pie at the last minute for hubby's 75th birthday. It was a cherry pie and looked very nice. Served it and it was inedible. It tasted bitter, I'm not saying sour, I mean bitter. Called the manager the next day and at first she wouldn't get on the phone with me but when she did, she was very curt and told me we should have brought it back in. We tossed it and will never be back.

Stopped in today for a cake for my birthday, I said I was looking for something small the lady showed me the carrot cake. I also grabbed a few cookies everything was delicious 😋 looking forward to trying the pasties next time. Thank you for the wonderful service and wishing me a Happy Birthday 🎂
